Ever cracked yourself in the head with a nunchuck? If you've ever used one, you have. I don't care if you're a master now. In the past you must done it at least once, probably many times. You likely also hit yourself in the back, the sholdure, the face and a few other places I won't mention. Like any weapon nunchakus takes practice to use them properly. They demand respect, and will have it at the cost of a major headache, or worse.
These training nunuchakus take the pain out of , well, training. At least most of the pain anyway. Now you can try all those cool tricks you see in the movies. Swinging them around your head and landing a solid blast. Alternating back and forth across your chest. Even over the head and around the back, without resulting is serious pain.
Don't get me wrong, it's not like you will magically be able to master the art of nunchukas. Suddenly you won't be smacking yourself in the face anymore. But at least it won't hurt so bad. Like the saying goes,"practice makes perfect".
Maybe you are a true martial artist and want to pass it along to the next generation. Don't your kids deserve to have their own. Kids aren't so good at sharing. Teach them to respect their weapons and themselves. Them let them have some good old fashioned fun.
Any way you look at it. These training chucks are a good investment in your future.
